Who we are

Dusk is sold by CRFTD Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17090422), Unit 17 Orbital 25 Business Park, Dwight Road, Watford WD18 9DA, United Kingdom ("we"). You can reach us at imaad@nwn.group. By buying or using Dusk you agree to these terms.

Pre-orders

• When you pre-order, you pay the launch price today.
• On launch day we email you a licence key and a download link.
• We don't have a fixed launch date yet. Before Dusk can open to everyone, Google must finish a security review of how it accesses Gmail. We'll keep pre-order customers updated by email.
• If we decide not to launch Dusk, we'll refund every pre-order in full.

Your licence

• Your licence is for you personally. You can use Dusk on any Mac you own or use.
• Please don't share your licence key or post it publicly. We may disable keys that have been shared widely.
• There's no subscription and no renewal charge. Your licence includes every update to Dusk 1, and it will also unlock the Dusk iPhone app when it's released.
• A future major version, such as Dusk 2, may be a separate purchase. The version you already have keeps working.
• You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer Dusk, except where the law allows it.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel within 14 days of buying, for any reason, and get a full refund, as long as you haven't downloaded or activated Dusk yet. For a pre-order, that means you can cancel within 14 days of paying. When you download Dusk or enter your key, you agree that supply has started, and this right to cancel ends.

If Dusk is faulty or doesn't work as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a repair, replacement or refund. Email imaad@nwn.group.

Your email accounts

Dusk connects to your Gmail, Google Workspace and iCloud accounts on your behalf. Your use of those accounts is still covered by Google's and Apple's own terms. Your mail stays stored with your provider, and Dusk keeps a copy on your Mac.

The AI

Summaries, sorting and suggested replies are made by Apple's on-device model. They're usually right, but they can be wrong or miss things. Check anything important in the original email, and read a suggested reply before you send it. Dusk never sends an email unless you send it.

Our responsibility to you

We'll provide Dusk with reasonable care and skill. We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses, as Dusk is sold for personal use.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in place when you bought Dusk, unless a change is required by law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
